Really reflecting on this past weekend’s retreat. Thinking about all the emotions, energy, and everything I’m between. As I’m sitting here at work I’ve realized my back has barely hurt. I’ve only taken one dose of ibuprofen. Which I normally take like clockwork here. Thinking back to remember when my back hasn’t hurt so bad I realized I haven’t had the usual bad pain since the reiki session. I was in tears earlier bc my back felt the most normal it’s felt in 2 yrs. I honestly and firmly believe that holding things in has physical effects on your body(even if you’re like me and you think you’ve let things go). Since I’ve let go what’s been holding me back I feel different and I hope to keep this mindset and continue to move different too. Y’all seriously should join the retreat in Jan. I know im gonna make it happen and figure out a way myself. Forever grateful for having Jo

I have been wracking my brain this whole week trying to come up with the best way to describe my feelings about this retreat. I have one word.......speechless. I am so wonderfully overwhelmed with the love and care that each lady has shown me since getting to know them. This group of gals are going to be my forever best friends. I let them see as deep as I could into my soul and they did the same for me. I am so glad I have gotten to know them. My personal journey after this retreat is still ongoing but with the Reiki and the tarot card reading I am know aware of the correct path I need to take. The path to taking back control of my happiness and my life.

I’ve thought all week about how to talk about the retreat. It’s not that things are so private for me that I fear sharing them. It’s more that words can’t truly express what we experienced; the bonds that were created, and the strength in which we fortified them forever…. We are, for the entirety of our lives, intertwined. Together we learned to look in the mirror and rejoice in what we saw. We learned that while our past shapes our present, it can never define who we are in this very moment. We cried together as we discovered for all of our different experiences, the core was the same. Am I lovable? Am I worthy? Am I thriving or am I just surviving? The shoot? Now that was just the cherry on top of the healing sundae. Jo said to release our power; to step into our goddess and I’d like to think that shows in these photos from the inside out. Maybe because I was there, or maybe because it’s me, but I am sobbing for this woman who was convinced she was broken, not whole, damaged. I connected with my youngest self and reassured her….YOU ARE INHERENTLY WORTHY I’m grateful to Jo, the Reiki, the Tarrot, and the incredible group of women I was surrounded by when I faced my most vunerable moments. Thank you for being there with me. Thank you for reminding me I am NEVER alone. The only one who can abandon me, is me.
